YSC fundraising for Dementia Choir

On the 1st of May there was a final handover to the West Wight Dementia Choir of donations raised by YSC betweem March 2023 to March 2024.

The total was revealed to a packed room of Choir attendees. Representing YSC was Martin Palmer Commodore during the 12 months of fund raising plus Sue Tribe and Inez Newman who both greatly assisted with donation collections from social activities and from the Quests circumnavigation undertaken by the clubs Junior sailors.

The Choir asked that their gratitude for the donations be passed on to all YSC members. The money has put the Choir on a solid financial footing for the future and will enable it to reach out to more people that are on their dementia journey.
