CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR YOUNG SAILORS!!

The day began at 04.30 in order to catch the tides. The weather was set fair and our young sailors set off and were soon rounding the Needles and on their way around the South side of the Island. They met some interesting waves around Ventnor and were approaching Culver Cliff at 12.20. They passed Ryde pier at 16.25 and then had to dodge the ferries off Cowes. Having passed Newtown their ETA at Yarmouth was 19.00 - 19.30. So a very long day. This fantastic achievement was done to raise funds for the West Wight Friendly Dementia Choir, so if you haven't yet supported them, please dig deep to recognise what these young sailors have successfully completed.
