The friendly club next to Yarmouth Bridge
Yarmouth Sailing Club sits next to the swing bridge over the River Yar at the western end of the Isle of Wight. It’s a friendly, informal, inclusive club with over 800 members run on a volunteer basis. It is an RYA Training Centre and as such delivers sail training to its members. A welcome is always extended to visiting yachtsmen.
We will be running a morning session on Saturday 25th May, starting at 10.00 (for members who have agreed to do race officer duties for the Club). People are welcome to turn up on the day but if they could let us know they are coming it would be helpful. Contact: Nick and Melinda Measor (email@example.com). More »

Yarmouth Sailing Club is 50 years old! It was in 1969 that our club was formed and we are celebrating our Golden Anniversary this year. Our main celebrations are to be held during the weekend of 28-30 June, when we are planning a varied and exciting programme of events to suit all ages, starting with a Golden Anniversary Ball - a glittering event when we will be dancing to the Dance Preachers.
