Aims of the Junior & amp; Youth Programmes

The aims of the Youth and Junior Sailing pathways are:

1. To provide a welcoming after-school sailing space for young people at Stage 3 or above with

ongoing coaching and a breadth of fun sailing-related activities designed to develop their sailing

skills, confidence, resilience, communication and independence

2. To provide a safe sailing programme consistent with YSCs H&S and safeguarding policies

3. To be an inclusive, respectful and friendly environment for all junior, youth, family members,

coaches and volunteers
