Information for Sailors Number 17A

Dear Sailors,

On the basis of reports from the boat park and the river on Saturday afternoon, I need to give some clarification about what members may do during the current lockdown.

The boat park does not constitute a 'public outdoor space' therefore it may not be accessed during the current lockdown except for 'essential checks or maintenance'. To do this, you should ask for permission of either Tom Gregory - tomgregory1@gmail.com - or myself - graemefjbowen@btinternet.com. So, for example, if you wish to collect your boat to tow it home for essential maintenance or you need to bail your cover out after some heavy rain please contact either Tom or myself first. Until you have received permission, the boat park, like the rest of the Club facilities, is closed to all members. If you are given permission, whilst you are accessing the boat park and your boat, it is your personal responsibility to ensure that you meet the current Government guidance.

Best wishes,

Graeme

(Rear Commodore Sailing)
