The friendly club next to Yarmouth Bridge

Yarmouth Sailing Club sits next to the swing bridge over the River Yar at the western end of the Isle of Wight. It’s a friendly, informal, inclusive club with over 800 members run on a volunteer basis. It is an RYA Training Centre and as such delivers sail training to its members. A welcome is always extended to visiting yachtsmen.

Our main celebrations are to be held during the weekend of 28-30 June, when we are planning a varied and exciting programme of events to suit all ages, starting with a Golden Anniversary Ball - a glittering event when we will be dancing to the Dance Preachers.
